The position of the new house on the plot respects the urban principles of the original construction. The long side of the single-storey house with an elongated rectangular shape is set against the northwestern border of the plot perpendicular to the road. In the same way as the neighboring, although often heavily rebuilt, original houses, the new house creates front garden and backyard spaces and is similarly delimited from the road. Behind the house, an elongated garden and orchard remain. In the front yard, a carport and a small lockable shed for storage are planned.

The house itself is oriented mainly to the southeast side into the yard. Along the curved facade with large windows to the individual rooms, a continuous porch extends, which is covered by the roof overhang. The entrance to the house is also from the porch roughly in the middle. At the back on the southwest side, the house opens into the garden with a short fully glazed facade. The roof overhang in this place covers a spacious terrace, which generously connects the interior with the exterior. On the other hand, it faces the neighboring plot to the north with a blind facade without windows.

Considering that the needs and priorities of living in relation to the house, the garden, the road and the cardinal points have changed over time, the design of the internal layout is completely contemporary and essentially completely reverses the original layout of the cottage - some characteristic moments remain. The house is entered from the yard through a covered porch, which is stretched along the entire long open south-eastern facade. The entrance hall forms a filter. Opposite the entrance is a roof skylight, which illuminates the center of the layout and accentuates the aquarium located below it. To the left of the entrance is a living and social area with a kitchen, dining room and fireplace. In addition to comfortable seating, the living room also includes a small, side-placed work desk. To the right of the entrance is a quiet area with rooms. The rooms open through large windows through the porch to the yard. From the service corridor in the quiet part of the house there is access to the technical room, walk-through cloakroom and shared bathroom.
